Q: Very worried, Faint positive pregnancy tests but spotting red/brown blood??

I am currently 11 dpo and I have been getting very faint positives since 7dpo on fertility2family 10 mIU tests.. To confirm this I also took a' First Response 6 days sooner' at 10 dpo and got a very faint positive.. but last night at 10 dpo I went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was red blood on the tissue (size of a chocolate coin maybe?) with what looked like small amount of ewcm in it, I wiped again and there was only spots of red blood. I put a panty liner on and nothing else came out after that, I have not had to change the liner as there is nothing on it, but when I wipe there is tinges of brown blood on the tissue (very small amounts). I had been getting a lot of water/ewcm all day.
I have had very dull cramps and a pinching sensation in my lower tummy but have not had any cramps that were severe.

This morning I took another test and again it was a very faint positive.

I am very confused and need some advice as I cannot see my doctor until tomorrow arvo!!

I wouldn't worry too much. Every pregnancy is different. I have very short LP's - 12 days, and I got my first faint BFP at 7 dpo. With my first 2 pregnancies, I had 14 day LP's, and spotted with both around 5 weeks. Actually, both times was a small gush of bright red blood, follow by brownish spotting for about a day. It was fine both times, ended up just being the baby really burroughing in to cervical lining. Cramping and back pain are generally pretty normal during implantation and early pregnancy.

I also have had a chemical pregnancy, getting an early BFP and then ad coming a few days late. One thing I can tell you is that if you do experience a chemical, there's nothing you can do to stop or prevent it, and nothing you do that causes it. It's just our body's way of rejecting an ovum that may not thrive. So please don't drive yourself crazy worrying. I'm sure it will be fine, and I know exactly how you feel.

No problem! Hmm, So you are on CD 31 and 11 DPO and AF is due today. That is a bit of a short Luteal Phase. Which may be a problem in itself. How long have you been trying TTC?? I mean, it's not super short, I've heard of worse, but it's something to look into. I dont think its crazy to think you would get a faint positive at 7 dpo. I got mine at 9 dpo and I have a normal 14 day Luteal Phase. So, I got my BFP early, too.

A chemical pregnancy is where you become pregnant and than it just absolves itself. For reasons, Im not sure. Maybe it doesn't attach properly to the lining of the uterus or what have you....but our bodies are so good at detecting whats viable and what isnt. If I were you, I would just buy a couple packs of FRERs and look to see if your lines get darker. People say there is little credence in this, but I saw it as helpful. More HCG = darker lines.

Take it easy for a couple days and if you do not start to bleed any heavier you may have a viable pregnancy! :)

My period was due today (CD 31), could my LP be too short?
I usually spot for about 4 days before my period starts but this time I have got nothing except for last night/this morning.
How do I know if it is a chemical pregnancy? Is there a way to know?
Thank you for the advice :)

I think it's just really early in your pregnancy, my dear. If you're 11 DPO I imagine you havnt missed your period yet. Do you usually spot before your period? If not, this could just be implantation spotting since its also mixed with cervical mucus. Which is a good thing, it means the bean is nestling in. On the other hand, it could also mean that you did get a faint positive, but its a chemical pregnancy and it's not a sustainable pregnancy. Either way, its still too early to know. Which I know is just killing you, but be patient and positive and hope it works in your favor. Goodluck!
