Q: How many of you have exclusively breastfed and got your period back very early postpartum?

I'm six weeks postpartum I'm pretty sure I'm done with postpartum bleeding as my discharge ended the way it should have but today I started with pink watery discharge after having the yellow/brown ending postpartum discharge. I think it is my period I do not feel sick or have any fever. But am crampy and feel like I'm getting my period. I thought your period was suppose to stay away when breastfeeding. My baby just had an appointment and is gaining weight fine so nothing wrong with milk supply. I can't believe this is my period???

It could be your period ... with my first pregnancy I had postpartum bleeding for 40 days and then had my first period 4 months later I was breast feeding . But most of my friends had thair periods almost immediately after the postpartum discharge(even and breast feeding their babies) ... so as soon as you can see red (fresh) blood you can count that for your period
