I'd say it depends which trimester you are in, in the first I had an appetite that never seemed satisfied. Now I'm in my second it has calmed down alot and my weight is balancing out. Listen to your body, it clearly needs the food right now.

Maybe google pictures of obese women? I know that would stop me from eating if I had that problem! If you go on pinterest, there are lots of pictures of fit hot mommas that are very inspirational. Imagery is very motivating. Print out pictures of fit women and put them around your house, and maybe print pictures of really obese women and put them on the fridge and cabinets. That's what my SIL did while she was training for a triathlon. Other then that, eat foods full of fiber, drink more water, and go on walks to keep you active and motivated :)

You need to drink more water. You could be dehydrated.

Oh and also try and do 3 medium to large meals a day, so you stay fuller.
Like 2 eggs, whole grain toast, and an orange with a large glass of milk in the morning.
Then snack on fruits, veggies, healthy crackers.
For lunch have a giant sandwich loaded with veggies and a cheese stick on the side, with some whole grain chips )sun chips r yummy and not too horrible)
Again snack on healthy things.
Then have a big big dinner so you are able to stay full and asleep at night. Like a bog bowl of pasta! They are good whole wheat or brown rice spaghetti noodles. You can make sauce from canned diced tomatoes, any veggies on hand (bell peppers, mushrooms, onion). sprinkle cheese on top and have a leafy green salad too (not ice berg lettuce)
With a big glass of milk.

1% milk keeps me full for a long time.
Then have a chocolate bar for dessert!

JUST BE SURE TO DRINK LOTS OF WATER ALLLLLL DAY!

Well your hunger probably wont go away.
I would suggest getting rid of all the ubhealthy snacking food in the house so you dont just gorge yourself on these gaining unhealthy weight (all the chips, lollies, chocolate)
And then fill your fridge and pantry with healthy snacks, cut up fresh veggies so they are on hand to munch on. Buy whole grain crackers or chips. Put fruit in sight...

I wouldnt say ur hunger is the problem, just what you are choosing to eat.

I am the same way. I've been craving chocolate, sweets, chocolate, more chocolate. What I do is keep some hershey kisses in the house. I allow myself only one or two when I get the craving. I also have some low fat chocolate ice cream bars stocked in the freezer. They are very low calorie. They sometimes help with the chocolate cravings. But sometimes, you just need to go out and get a good old chocolate bar. My suggestion is not to keep it in the house because, if you are like me, you'll eat it all. It really isn't healthy to be eating only sweets (as much as we want to), so try eating other things that will make you fuller. (Sugary treats don't make you full, so that's why you keep eating and feeling hungry). Try getting some almonds, cashews, peanuts, etc. When you get hungry, try drinking a big glass of water first (gotta keep the fluid intake up anyway), eat some nuts or something, eat a cup of yogurt. And then allow yourself a small piece of chocolate (if you are still hungry).

I am the same and I cant eat fruit because it makes me sick, I have only just started to eat vegetables again because even the sight of them was knocking me ill, with every pregnancy I crave food that is so bad for you, I eat 3 times a day because eating more frequently ( which I tried makes me sick) but I have to have huge portions to feel full when I do eat.

I have this same problem! I'm really prone to sweets, too. I just shrug it off and remind myself that I won't be able to eat this way without worrying about my weight after I'm done being pregnant. I was a bit underweight before getting pregnant so I just try not to think about how much I'm eating now, my baby needs it. My doc isn't concerned either, so I guess as long as your doctor is okay with your weight gain and eating then you shouldn't really worry either.

I had this problem with my first and gained 39kg :( with my second i ended up with GD and with this one i have GD so no way can I risk eating like that now as it will harm bubby SO I try eating more of the foods that I know leave me feeling full. Like when i want something sweet I cut up an apple into really small pieces (makes it seem like a yummy little bowl of lollys or something lol) when im done i feel much more satisfied than i do after chips or chocolate. Berries are good too you can eat so so many without them doing much bad to you lol Good luck with it all xx
