Q: Sharing room with baby.

I am going to be sharing a room with baby. I was wondering if any of you ladies have any tips on organizing baby's clothes and things. Already some plastic containers and some baskets for some stuff. But still needing to figure out what to do with some of his clothes and other things.

Me and Husband are also going to be sharing our room with the baby and are going to hang some of her stuff in the closet and then we registered for a baby cady that you hang off the side of the dresser and we are going to put baby items in that like diapers and wipes and thing in that area along with pacifiers. We are using a changing table and she will be in a pack and play for a little while and then we will set up the crib when we need it. We also have decided to get one of those shoe hanger things and use that to hold things like bibs, socks, recieving blankets.

We are also sharing a room with the baby as there is nowhere else for her to go. She will have her own crib but my mom gave me the armior she had for me when I was little. Since we are both tall, we are using the top of it as a changing table. My dad had removed the hanging rod and put a shelf in the hanging part.

While the baby isn't moving around a bunch in the crib, you can put the changing stuff and lotion in the crib in a basket at the foot of the crib. That will also clear up some room until he/she starts moving around.

My fiancé and I will be sharing a room with baby as well. We plan on having the cirb and are debating having the changing table in the room. We each have our own dressers, including one for baby. If we don't keep the changing table in our room we plan on keeping changing supplies and have a small "station" for changing. Everything else is going in the rest of our place. We want to keep our bedroom as much for sleeping as possible since there will be so much in there already and want to associate bedroom with bed time.

I shared a room with my son also, we had a little dresser for most of his clothes. baby lotions, etc. was kept in the washroom in a little basket. we had one of those plastic containers on wheels, with drawers, its not very large but easy enough for socks, bibs, receiving blankets and undershirts. and another storage help, was the baby bassinet. it had a storage basket underneath where we kept his blankets and spare PJ's for mid night changes.

I would do shelves! With baskets clearly labeled with what will be in them.
