Q: Not Helpful Comments

Has anyone noticed that someone constantly votes that answers are Not Helpful, when they are perfectly helpful, polite and relevant comments?

What's up with that kind of begrudging negativity on here? I find all the comments people leave to be helpful and well-meaning - but someone always votes that they aren't. LOL

Ha! I was thinking that the other day.... I'm like "this comment was extremely helpful! who would vote against it?"

But then you get people like the girl who asked the question about weight gaining, and flipped out at a comment posted. So I'm guessing it's people like that that are just always negative.

Wow! I thought I was the only one who noticed it! I don't know why anyone would do that, but it must be a personal problem... :/

I always click helpful when someone answers my questions. But I never really got how the helpful results work... because if it says "3 out of 3 found this helpful". so three disliked it? and three like it? Lol. I'm confused on that part

I wouldn't bother to vote either way, its not any ones place to judge what was helpful or not, even if I asked a question and someone gave me what I thought was a daft answer, I would probs just smile at my screen and say something in my head lol

Maybe if we try to explain to that lady that she is passing all the negative emotions to her baby as well .She should focus how to stay happy , so her little one is going to be happy too

The simple answer could just be some internet trolls looking to get folks riled up. It wouldn't be the first message board/community to get them!

I noticed it a lot on the other website (countdowntopregnancy) for the past few months, so I'm just assuming the "negative" person must have finally got a BFP and migrated over here. Must be recently pregnant because I've only noticed it more in the past week or so. It's ridiculous since most of the comments marked as "unhelpful" are totally and completely helpful.

There was one member on here that was particularly rude on a couple of questions I had asked earlier on in my pregnancy. There was another member that had asked a question that was similar to my situation, and the rude member was just disgustingly rude on that question, because she thought it was me again (question was asked by an anonymous member). Whoever this is keeps their comments anonymous- I had even contacted the Administrators on here, but there was nothing they could do apparently.

At least all of us on here except for one are great :) Congrats to everyone!! :)
