Q: Stroller with bassinet - functionality?

Hi ladies! I've been doing a lot of research into the MANY different stroller options out there and let me tell you - I am confused! I've been looking at a couple options that come with a bassinet - my question is weather the bassinet is actually functional ie. how much use do you really get out of it? Is it worth the added couple hundred dollars?
Also - any Canadian mamas out there with stroller recommendations?

I love the BOB strollers. But do not like the design of the back of the stroller. To recline them you have to undo a clip then loosen the 'rope?' and reclip it, which to me is incredible impracticle. But these strollers are pretty low profile sizewise and can hop curbs with little effort. They run about $400-500 canadian but will last many years and could hold a large child and have the solid rain/snow cover etc.

Because of the back design I have been looking for similar strollers and recently found the Peg Perego GT3 COMPLETO that seems pretty good. More expensive but this will be our big splurge!

It will depend on what you want. I do not like 4 wheeled strollers, or small wheels. They are just to hard to push through snow/grass/sand etc. I want something that can be used out while hiking, in the winter and can just throw in the car for the mall.

I am not yet sure on my thoughts on the bassinet idea. I think it would be handy for the first 8-10 months but that's it.
