Q: swimming in first trimester

i love swimming.. but now that am pregnant, am not sure if it is still an option for me...any one who is pregnant and still swims?

Yes! Swimming is the best exercise I've been getting, next to yoga. It also helps release the pressure on your back and legs :)

I'm 27 weeks along & it's helped dramatically compared to my 1st pregnancy (high blood pressure) the doc says "keep it up!"

Absolutely- I love it especially when I have bad backache and just need to stretch :)

I have heard and read that swimming is one of the best forms of exercise for a woman. It lightens the weight on your joints and just makes moving easier. I say go for it.

yes I do, I am 17 weeks, its the best form of keeping fit for pregnant women, specially in the later stages, helps with back ache and such.
