Q: Any one else "Just Know" the sex of baby from an early stage?

As soon as I found out I was pregnant I referred to baby as a "He". I'm just under 6 weeks, so I doubt there is any way I could really know. It just seems obvious to me. We had a girls name picked out before getting preg, but I'm super focused on getting the boys name. I only want to look at baby boy things. I did the Chinese gender predictor and it said boy. I have been completely avoiding all sweets, and wanting spicy things. Any one else feel totally sure at a really early point? If so did it turn out to be correct? Thanks!

I had a sneaky feeling that I was carrying a boy this time, and I was right. My daughter and I, at first, wanted another girl, but I told everyone all along I figured it was a boy!

I did have the I just know feeling with all my kids, and was right everytime! I had boy, boy, girl, boy, and have a very strong feeling this one is a girl I wont find out until Tuesday at the gender scan...I felt completely different with this baby and my dd than I ever did with my 3 boys.

Also chinese gender test was right for me everytime ...its best to look at the ones that do the age and month converting for you, because lunar age and month is much different than what it actually is...for example I was 28 when I got pregnant but my lunar age is 30 at that time, and I got preg June but have to use the 4th lunar month. here is a great one I even went back and checked it for my older 4 and it was right for them all http://www.chinesegenderchart.info/2012-chart.html :)

On the flip side: First time round I guessed a boy, and the chinese predictor said boy..and he was.
This time I was so convinced i was having a girl that I brought pink and called bump she, even the predictor said girl. I was in for a huge shock when my gender us revealed another boy, it's taken a while to adjust but im thrilled now.
Either way it's fun guessing!

Its 50 50 ya either right or wrong, like one lady said she was 1000 percent convinced and she was wrong, no way of knowing till you have a scan or give birth, if you do happen to be right ya obviously going to say see I knew all along :). I have convinced myself I am having a girl with this one, gender predictor says boy, but they have been wrong with every pregnancy I have had :)

Hahaha. I am the same way. This is my first and I am 11w1d and I just feel like I am having a boy. My DH and I already have a boy name picked out and havent even thought of a girl name.My sister and sister-in-law have given us all boys stuff too from their babies and the chinese calendar said I am having a boy as well.I guess I will have to wait and see for another 7 weeks though.

i did that with my first pregnancy, i thought 1000% it was a boy, bought boy things, picked out a boys name,. the thought of it being a girl didnt seem possible... but guess what!! she was a girl! to make it even better... my mom was in the delivery room and said "Its a boy!!" when she came out... and my response was "i know..". about 3 minutes later the dr said, "umm, nope its a girl!"

Interesting:
Women who had a female fetus had hCG levels significantly higher than women who carried a male fetus.

This finding is consistent with that found by several other researchers. In a study published by Yaron Y et al in Human Reproduction the authors studied 1,325 pregnant women with singleton pregnancies at 10-13 weeks.and compared different hormone levels including the pregnancy hormone hCG human chorionic gonadotropin between women carrying a male and a female fetus

These findings may have implications not only on evaluating risks of Down syndrome (women carrying female fetuses had a higher risk for Down syndrome), but also on timing of a pregnancy test. If women carrying a male fetus have lower hCG levels then it may be possible that their first positive urine pregnancy test could be delayed because of the male gender.
