Q: slipped in the shower almost 15 weeks

I am 15 weeks tomorrow and I just slipped and fell on my ass in the shower. Will baby be ok? I am terrified of it causing a miscarriage. I am not cramping. Only normal discharge. Will everything be ok?

Two stories for ya:

Last pregnancy, office chair broke (embarrassing) and went zinging to my ass at a shocking rate of speed. I was truly shocked at how hard I hit the ground. No cramping, no bleeding...just kept an eye on things and drank lots of water...all was well.

This pregnancy, had a crazy acrobatic fall in my son's room after tripping over a toy. I ended up doing some sort of splits and crazy manuevers! I was sore that night. Next day felt weird and still sore so I called the doc. They told me to go to Labor and Delivery. I felt like a naughty school girl when I was checked in they scolded me for not coming in right after it happened. You can have placenta abruption. There are symptoms and I don't want you freaking out but it was enlightening to me. A fall or a fender bender in a car can be much more harmful than we realize.

Monitor yourself and trust your instincts.
