Q: RH- and pregnancy????

I am only 4 weeks along but this is my first pregnancy since my miscarriage 7 months ago. Last time, we didn't have enough time to get my husbands bloodwork done. I called my DR today and they want to go ahead and see me TMW to get a head start on finding out my DH's RH factor.
I'm actually very nervous that this won't work out...again. Is, anyone else RH- and had healthy pregnancies after MC? Was your pregnancy treated as high risk the first trimester?

Thanks Ants12, yes, I understand what the Rh factor is, and how my husbands factor will play in this. I guess I just wasn't expecting that my doctor would want to see me at only 4 weeks. She wants to do a full check up (even though my last PAP was only in January, and my MC was in November). I had called to see when they officially wanted to see me since I knew they needed to bloodwork on my DH. I've already had one dose of the Rhogam during my last MC and will possibly need more pending my husbands factor. I guess what I was asking was has anyone had a healthy pregnancy after a miscarriage witha negative RH factor.

I am also RH- but it only poses a problem if your husband is RH+. As far as i'm aware you then only have to get an injection of anti D as future pregnancies will be a problem if the babys blood type is + and yours is -.
Hope this makes sense!!
