Q: Mother-ease cloth diapers

I know this is tough one to answer as it will be different for each child but...we will be using Mother-Ease's One-Size diapers for our baby. There are a few sizes for the covers and I am trying to figure out which ones really get used. We don't mind buying 4-6 of each size if they are needed.

I was wondering if it is possible to skip the small size and start with the 10-20pound size. I don't expect a tiny baby (I have diabetes so have been told baby may be a bit big) so can see baby being about 8pounds+ or so at birth. I expect to use disposables until the umbilical cord is healed.

Has anyone used these diapers...do you feel it is easy enough to skip the smalls and start with the 10-20pound covers?

Thanks! We will get the mediums then. I my order 1-2 smalls and see what size baby is when born, I can return the smalls if we don't use/wash them and exchange for mediums... that way I have he option of a smaller fit if we need it but don't have to buy a full stock of them!

We did this and it worked fine. You can skip the sm size and move straight to the med. (10-20 lb). The cover will be a little big on your baby but it will still work great.
