Q: When does morning sickness usually start?

I know it is different for every woman and every pregnancy but is there a more common time frame for nausea to appear during pregnancy? When did nausea start for you?

With my first birth< it started exactly at 6 weeks... lasted for 2 weeks (and those were two really bad weeks)

I have a sort of mild nausea, like I feel so hungry I could barf, and after eating i sort of feel like i just wish I hadn't eaten...I guess this is a mild version of nausea? I'm 6 weeks exactly, so maybe it will get worse before it gets better. Today I considered making eggs for breakfast and then realized that I was disgusted by the thought, so maybe that's food aversion?

I'm 10w4d and haven't had any morning sickness. Slight queasiness on occasion, but that's about it. Good luck and hopefully you avoid it!

Mine started in my 6th week and went for two weeks strong. Now I'm 7w6d and for the past four days, I've had virtually no nausea. Thank God. I was losing it. I hope it's gone for good.

I've heard the most common time is right around 6 weeks, but everyone is different. I didn't have any morning sickness until almost the end of my 7th week and I was starting to worry that something was wrong! Trust me, enjoy your sickness-free time while you have it. :)

Some women will never experience morning sickness. However, I was nauseous before I took a positive pregnancy test. Never actually threw up from it, though.

Hello. My sickness began at 6w and 1 day exactly! Sadly I suffer with hyperemesis which is not easy! I'm now 24w gone and still throw up regularly!! Probably not what you wanted to hear! Then again, I know ladies who have never thrown up during their pregnancies. Good luck. X
