I lost almost twenty pounds this pregnancy. I'm over weight, but not obese. Now at 35 weeks I've gained like 4 pounds. As long as your doc isn't worried, and you're eating healthy don't worry about it.

According to my mother, the idea nowadays that it's okay to gain 30-40 lbs in a pg is crazy. She only gained 15lbs with me and it was mostly in the third trimester. So I wouldn't worry about it, gaining a lot of weight isn't healthy, and as long as you are eating healthy I wouldn't worry.

You're in a healthy range for your height. Like Lala said, it can be totally normal to lose weight. I lost a little in the beginning too. As long as your doc says you and baby are fine, try not to worry about it.

I think a lot of people lose weight in early pregnancy when they have morning sickness. Just try to eat as many fresh fruits, veggies, and whole grains as possible to keep getting the vitamins and nutrients you need. Also mention it to your doctor so they can keep an eye on it or send you to a nutritionist if needed. I'm not sure if that weight is in the healthy range for your height (but I'm sure you can look it up online) but as long as you aren't dropping below healthy weight you should be okay. Good luck.
