Q: Is walking uphill safe at 4 weeks?

Don't wanna do anything that would hurt. I would run about 2 miles and walk 1 mile about 1 and half months before I got my bfp. Now that I am 4 weeks, is it safe for me to walk uphill. Part of my walk includes an uphill part that is about half mile long. Is it safe? Yesterday I tried it but was kinda out of breath. Is that because I haven't done it for about 1 1/2 months? Please help. Thank you, I appreciate it.

I have found myself short of breath on a walk that I commonly do, i agree that your body is working extra hard and things may feel different than before your pregnancy :) take it easy but do keep up any activity your body is already used to!!

Most doctors actually advise to stay active during pregnancy. I probaly wouldnt advise running uphill lol but unless your at an increased risk of miscarriage it should be fine to walk. Just don't overdue it. Also during early pregnancy you are usually extremely fatigued so that could be why your short of breath, your body is already working so hard to create that little baby. If your still really worried contact your doctor. Good luck!
