I am 25 weeks and there are days where she is not as active. I think at this point our babies are going to be inconsistant and we shouldn't worry. Plus, I saw on this site that kick counts don't need to be started until 28 weeks, so I was relieved to read that b/c our little ones still have a month to grow before they get a little stronger and more consistant.

My little one has been doing that to me since I first felt her kick at 16 weeks. Some days she's as active as anything and then other days I barely feel her at all. I'm now 34 weeks and she's still doing the same thing to me...and it still freaks me out!
I find that having my DP usually causes her to stir a bit. She seems to respond well to his deeper tone.
I also invested in a fetal heart monitor around 24 weeks to calm myself down. It cost about 30 euros on eBay.

thanx monty.. im currently 24 weeks . i think im just being paranoid, shes still kicking but i think im super worried because on monday i watched a show on television about this woman who had a still birth and her only way of knowing baby had died was that it didnt kicks so since then i think ive been ultra concious. and yesterday it took her an hour to do 10kicks where as the day prior it was only 10min.. Ill keep an eye on it but knowing similar thing happened to u has eased my mind.. thankyou so much adn ill let u know if i end up letting my worries get the better of me !!

How far along are you? I had this same feeling right around 24 weeks. Baby girl was really active and then not active for a few days....it had me worrying, but she came around. If your really getting nervous about it, I would call your Doc and see if you can go in for a doppler or ultrasound. Hope all goes well!
