I am prone to migraines so my family is always sending me new ideas of how to get them to ease up. One thing I have found that works is for my hubby to rub my feet rather rough. Not enough to hurt me, but enough that it doesnt tickle. I was recently told that lemon water with ginger would help a headache even a migraine. I havent had one since I got this info so I havent been able to try it. But hey, its worth a shot for sure! Hope you find something that works for you!

I had terrible migraines with my first pregnancy and even ended up in the hospital a few times because they were so severe. Tylenol didnt help me either. At the ER they can give meds through an intervenous that is safe if the pain becomes too much but besides some trips there, I found laying in a dark room, drinking lots of water and sleep helped me.

I don't know where you are from, or your docs recommendations. This is my second pregnancy, and I was told during this (told unsafe during my first 3 yrs. ago) pregnancy that the American Pregancy Association said that it is now safe for woment to take IBuprofen up until the third trimester. For me this was a God Send because I do get terrible headaches, which Tylenol can't touch, and IBuprofen works everytime. You may want to ask your doc, and do some research on line. The FDA also says that it is in the same class "considered safe" as Tylenol during the 1st and second trimesters...but can cause bleeding during the third and to saty away from it.
