Q: Urisoda

I have many crystals in my urine...im 8 weeks and dr. prescribed urisoda which has soduim citrate and sodium alkalnity..Is it safe to take it? Im sure my dr. wouldnt prescribe anything that would harm the fetus..but im kinda paranoid about taking this medicine

If it was your OB that prescribed it, then I would be ok taking it, but if you're having doubts, then I would call your doctor's office and double check. Most doctors won't prescribe drugs to you while pregnant unless they're confident that the benefits of taking it outweigh the risks of taking it (or not taking it, for that matter).
