Q: 3/5 pregnant with right ovary pain? :/

I went to the doctor 3/3 and got a positive pregnancy test. My concern, 4 days before, I went to the er for ovary pain and had a tvu done and they said i had a cyst on each ovary and I came back negative for pregnancy.

I'm having all the pregnancy signs but i'm concerned with the pain in my right ovary area. Could this just be the cyst? I guess im a little nervous not having an ultrasound done yet to confirm a normal pregnancy and not in my tubes or ovarys. I have an apt. in 2 days for prenatal.

Should I just relax and take it easy. I've read that ovary pain can be the hormones feeding the pregnancy until my uterus is ready for the baby...?

Any similar issues? or advice?

I've been keeping myself on bedrest since i found out to not put any additional stress on the baby with drinking lots of water and healthy food and prenatals.. :)

Thank you!!

If it comes in waves like cramps or much more intense like contractions get a new ultrasound ASAP. I have an ovarian ectopic 3 yrs ago and almost died from hemorraging because I waited too long. I was 6 wks when we found mine. I'm not trying to scare you, it just better to err on the side of caution.

Is a sharp pain that is staying contantly or does it come and go or is it more of a achy pain? Is there nausea with the pain?

I have a history with cysts as well, and sometimes when they are really bad I have such a sharp pain that they stop me in my tracks.

However, I also get the normal light sharp pain that I consider more achy pain now that I'm pregnant. My doctor said she just thinks its my hormones and I'll have a bit of it over the next few months. I also had a very early prenatal exam last week and my doctor didn't seem to be concerned with anything.

I say just relax, be positve and hope for the best. Continue doing what you would normally do as much as possible as thats helpful for yourself both physcially and mentally.

Good luck!
