My doc said, as long as it doesn't hurt, isn't too much internal pressure, (like when you really have to fart type pressure) and if you are like 38 weeks or so, rouch sex can induce labor... I am 12 weeks prego with twins, high risk, and my doctor said get in the sheets and go for it, but at any time during or after, if pain is involved, stop, and beware of bleeding.

i agree with all the othe other ladies. if the doc does not forbid sex, go for it, cuz in a little bit you will have to find some creative ways to get it done when your belly pops out :) i am 33 weeks and sometimes just finiding a confy position to do it in is a task. the big O is the reward for all that hard work LOL. but the doc told us that orgasms are completely safe and baby goes to sleep from all the rocking. she also said that contracting after sex/orgasm is normal as long as it does not last longer than an hour, is not "painful" and there is no bleeding.

I am a high-risk mommy, but still am able to do the deed when I feel up to it :). Have some fun!!! As long as you aren't in pain and aren't bleeding (more than what u and ur doctor are comfortable with) you should be fine :). I would just stay away from the crazy positions or watch out for lots of pressure...

it's totally safe unless the dr has given you the stop sign lol, it is weird but the baby actually enjoys it when you orgasm and have sex the baby enjoys the rocking :)

It's not harmful to baby...:) Unless your doctor has said "no" to the intercourse - then enjoy away!:) I have sex 3-4 times per week, great orgasms and at almost 30 weeks! We are doing fine! Many women and men are concerned about this too, by the way - very normal question.

Nope, not at all hun. Unless you have a high risk pregnancy or your doctor tells you not to there is no reason for you not to enjoy sex and orgasms! Your baby is very comfortable and safe in your uterus. I know what you mean about the contractions as im 30 weeks pregnant and when I have sex and orgasm, my tummy contracts quite bad and its sore for around 15 seconds then it eases away. Dont be paranoid and dont worry, its totally safe!
