Q: when does the second tri mester start ?

iam now 6 weeks pregnant and my dr told me to wait till the secoind tri mester if i wanted to color my hair .

I was always under the impression that the second trimester is at 12 weeks, cause that is three months. But I have also seen websites and books say 13 weeks and 14 weeks.

You'll find a couple different answers to this online but the most consistent I found was 14 weeks.
