Q: what week were u in did u find out it was a boy or girl?

i am 14weeks today nov. 13,2011, but oct 31 i went to doc and said it was a boy but to early to b sure an i was only 12weeks an 2days??

I found out at 16 weeks... My little one spread legs wide open!!

My doc refused to check until i was 22 weeks along and even then they said bebe wasn't for sure a girl. They said they'll do another ultrasound at 32 weeks to check which seems like a big gap to me...

I think they do most gender ultrasound scans between 18-20 weeks + for better accuracy. I'm 18 weeks and 1 day now and my ultrasound isn't booked until Nov.28 when I will be 20 weeks and 2 days along.

thanks and i think they guess and hope their right as well lol. i want a boy since my first was a girl an my doc knows that so mayb that why she said it who knows??

when i had my 12 week scan at 12weeks 6 days, they wouldnt even look for a gender, they said it was way to early to tell and if they thought they could see something they didnt want to be wrong as there is a high chance of being wrong so early on. At the 18week 6 day scan, we found out it was a girl. they said its 95% chance of being correct, i think they say this to cover themselves incase they were accidentally wrong.
