Q: How far along am I??

Hi. I just found out today that I'm pregnant! (OMG!). My last menstrual cycle started on 7th October 2011 and I ovulated on 31st October (I've been on a stimulated IUI cycle through my local NHS fertility centre). I'm just a little confused at how far along I am - it's been two weeks since ovulation but 5 weeks since my last period - am I two or five weeks pregnant???

Well, what they do is count your pregnancy from the first day of your last menstrual cycle - confusing, I know. So, the way they calculate it does add 2 or 3 weeks to the time. I would say 5.5 wks but I'm no expert. Luck and Prayers

there are places to type in that information on this web site and others..but it does start with the first day of your last period..however, you may be a little further along since you did IVF..maybe 4 - 5 days further..hope that helps.

Hi there according to your lmp you would be 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant. Most doctors will go by your lmp because in most cases its hard to determine the exact day of ovulation. Congrats! :)
