hi. im 4w6d. is it safe for me to still continue driving? my car is automatic and im driving to work at average of 3 hours drive in a day. is this safe?

Also if you are driving more than an hour at a time be sure to flex your calf muscles and rotate your ankles to help keep your blood flowing in your legs. Driving or riding for more than an hour at a time especially in later trimesters can make you a blood clot risk because the blood pools in your legs. One recommendation would be to wear compression knee high socks that would keep the legs slightly compressed and the blood moving. Ask your doc for their recommedations.

driving is completely safe. Your baby is well protected. Make sure you wear your seatbelt across your hips instead of doing it across your belly. that's it!
