I just ordered a Seven Slings wrap, because someone gave me a code to get it for free (only paying shipping). Look it up if you'd like, http://www.sevenslings.com/ with discount code "FREE". It looks like it will work well for me when baby is too small for the Ergo baby I plan to get. I'm due in May, and live in AZ so it will definitely be too hot for the infant insert. I have back problems, and read a bunch of reviews that Moby is hard on the back anytime after 15 lb, where Ergo is better for heavier babies and sits them in a way that is easier on both of our spines. Also important in my decision, hubby is willing to carry baby in the plain black Ergo, but hated the look of the Moby. Good luck!

I have a moby and i used it a lot when my daughter was very young but it didnt last long once she started to move around more the strechy material always made me worry she would fall out if I didnt hold on to her. It just isnt practical for an older baby/toddler. I am getting an Ergo for the next baby I have heard wonderful things about them. If you are really into the wrap idea you might want to check out woven wraps, they are just like a moby but they arn't strechy. My guess would be that people dont use them that many times because they dont take newborns out for very long periods of time especially if they are nursing. Oh and speaking of nursing my daughter was able to nurse in the moby but then she constantly wanted milk because she was so close to my breast.

I don't have a moby but sometimes I'll put my robe on and tuck my son into it so just his head is sticking out the top and he's all snug in there. He loves it and I use it to comfort him when he cries (which is practically never). I'm planning on getting a moby since it works so well.

I love mine! They're so comforting for young babies, and make it so much easier to get around. I don't like taking my daughter out in her pram when it's cold, but she's really snug in her sling. It's surprisingly easy to use as well. I would definitely recommend it :)
