Q: HCG!?

Everyone talks about HCG but when I had my blood done for the first time - at nine weeks - they didnt test for it! WHY?

I didnt get tested either for it i figured they would since i had a tubal reversal and i was only like 6weeks. . . And everything is fine :)

They don't always test for HCG. Usually it's early in the pregnancy to see if the pregnancy is valid and the results are multiplying. If they don't feel that is an issue they may not test for HCG. Did you have an ultrasound yet or do they have one scheduled soon? They may just rely on the ultrasound in this case since its 9 weeks. I only had HCG tested at 4-5 weeks to see if the pregnancy was valid since I was going to an infertility clinic.
