Hi,
I guess its normal to start worrying about every little thing when we first find out we're expecting. The first trimester can be so scary! It is safe ! I am 6.5 weeks and just flew home for a family visit. The only thing i would tell you to worry about is if you have morning sickness as traveling really didn't help my nausea at all. It's apparently safe to fly in country till 36 weeks, internationally till 32 weeks... just make sure to drink a lot of water and walk around a bit on the flight. Just be sure to get up and walk around the plane once and a while to avoid blood clots if you're going to be sitting for a while.

Thanks alot ladies! The first trimester can be so scary! I feel a little better now about flying tho. I see my dr. tomorrow so will discuss it with her as well. Hopefully she can give me some safe tips on how to keep the nausea under control! :-s

I flew when I was 19 weeks with my last... and will be flying this time at 7 weeks as well. It's plenty safe. :) Just be sure to get up and walk around the plane once and a while to avoid blood clots if you're going to be sitting for a while.
