Q: 4 days late, took two tests...one VERY faint POS, one neg...HELP!

Right I was 4 days late, when i'm usually regular, have had lots of symptoms of been pregnant and I got a twin pack of Clear Blue + tests..(which are meant to be most reliable)..I took both at the same time...from the same urine, one was a very faint positive..i literally had to hold it up to the light, but the other was neg. I'm so confused..but i'm terrified now that i'm not pregnant as I have already told people (especially the father) that I am pregnant. I have been worried sick that i have 'imagined' the positive or it was faulty. I have drs appointment tomorrow and i'm dreaded a negative result.
I feel so silly....but this is my first and my fiance and I have been trying to concieve. HELP PLEASE.

As far as I've learned, (And I'm REALLY new at this) The only things that REALLY can make false positives are:
Birth Control
Recent pregnancies
Hormonal medications.

If you had to hold it up to the light, you could have been seeing the "evapotration line" where the line on the test is.

However, if you are unsure at all about your results, buy another couple tests, but I wouldn't recommend using the same urine for both. Do it right when you wake up and don't drink a lot of water beforehand. You want it to be potent stuff.

Also, check these out. More information is ALWAYS helpful.

a line is a line. I did a line test and is was super duper faint that i was unsure if i was just seeing things, so i bought a digital test and "pregnant" popped up straight away. I suggest you get a digital test and take away all the confusion !

If you had even a faint positive you probably are. Your doc can confirm it for you though and if not.... Keep trying.
