Q: When does morning sickness begin?

I am in my 5th week and have had some mild nausea but no real morning sickness. When is it supposed to begin? It's not that I want it to start, but I heard it was a sign of a healthy pregnancy and I am terrified of miscarrying again.

Ditto to the comments about everyone being different. I never had nausea or morning sickness w/my daughter. Good luck!

My first pregnancy certain foods grossed me out (around week 7) but I never got sick. This pregnancy is another case.

I am in the same situation... I actually WANT morning sickness, as I also heard it's correlated with healthy pregnancies. I lost my first pregnancy at 10.5 weeks in August, and never had morning sickness, so I am actually hoping for it this time around. I know that sounds crazy, but I guess I am not the only one. I am just over 5 weeks right now, and I heard it typically kicks in around week 6. Good luck to you and lots of sticky vibes your way.

Mine started around Week 6, but even at 8 weeks I still only get nausea when I don't eat enough or when I eat certain things/smell certain things. I haven't gotten sick yet, just waves of nausea. But everyone is different.

I never had morning sickness...so don't rely too much on it as being your only sign! Only 75% of women get morning sickness.

Every pregnancy and every person is different, but with my first I didn't get morning sickness till about 6 weeks. I am currently 5 weeks as well and have only had nausea here and there but not much.
