Well I go for my u/s Friday and I'm going to ask if they see anything down there...I'm just curious to know. But I will not buy anything gender specific just yet!

I asked my tech to make a guess at my 12w u/s and they said girl - dead wrong! Nearly 30 weeks now and all boy. So if they guess, take it with a giant grain of salt.

If they do tell you what they "think" it is, I would hold off on buying anything gender related. 12 weeks is really VERY early to find out! They may make a guess but they say it's not accurate until at least 15 weeks when everything has been developed. My doctor wouldn't tell me til 20 weeks but I went to a great private center that told me at 16 weeks. I wanted to wait just slightly longer to make sure it was accurate.

With my first son they told me exactly in week 12 that the baby is 80% boy.And he is a boy..With my second son they wasnt able to see in week 12 if it is boy or girl. Then I went in week 16+4 for a private scan and they said 80% girl.....but i just gave birth to my second son....., so it depends :)
