Q: WHat do you do.... am I alone?

I am going to be 7 months this weekend and alot of my clothes (maternity ones) are getting too tight I dont want to keep spending money and new ones so just wondering what everyone else did. Its only 15 degrees out today where I am at other wise I would buy dresses for the rest of this... Maybe it will get warmer soon?

We bought 90% of my maternity clothes in Goodwill stores ranging from $3 to $6 dollars per item! You can get a couple of items for this price.. Most Goodwill stores have 50% off sale on a certain Saturday each month. Just check Goodwill stores in your area online for sales schedule. Most of the clothes we bought are of good brands like motherhood maternity, gap, old navy, etc. I even chose items for warmer weather in spring: bigger sizes for my 8th and 9th months. (I'm 4 months now).
I hope this helps! :)

I'm on baby number 4 and I have a few maternity clothes from my last pregnancy but I lived in sweats my last few months, or used a hair band to hole my jeans closed, when my aternity shirts were to tight I wore my husbands :)

I can't afford maternity clothes in general so I go to consignment shops and get regular clothes that are loose and flowy. I also check Ross and Walmart and look in their clearance clothes. I just got my most favorite pair of pants from Walmart for $3 and they're maternity leggings. You can also do eBay. My mother-in-law also told me she stayed in sweats the entire end of her pregnancies (she's had 6) and my SIL told me she wore regular jeans with a rubber band wrapped through the button hole and around the button.

I delivered my first in the month of December and the last 2 months I lived in leggings and long sweaters. Soooo comfortable! Dresses are also great as well...theyre more expandable.

Maybe switch to dresses and some leggings? Until it gets warmer? I'm with you - I wouldn't want to buy any additional maternity clothes for just the last few weeks.

Have you tried the waist band expander? That way you don't have to buy new pants!

I went to consignment shops and got several jeans/capris and tops. I also had several people that just got done with pregnancy give me some of their clothes. I was like you.. I hated to spend a bunch of money for clothes that I would only wear for a short time.
