Q: Growing Uterus

I am 6w5d today. A few days ago, I felt for my uterus while my bladder was about half full. I found it three inches above my pelvic bone. Today, my husband and I were both felt my uterus while I was standing up - it is 2 inches above my pelvic bone. I asked my doctor and he said no - now I am asking you ladies - have any of you felt your uterus pop out earlier as a result of multiple pregnancies?

And just for clarification, I have IBS and have had to grow very familiar with how my intestines, etc feel. This is below them and it is nothing I've felt before. It feels almost like a water balloon - firm but not rock hard. I can feel it from the centre to my left hip - which is about 2.5 inches.

Thank you!

Absolutely! I'm surprised your doctor said it was impossible actually. I got bad cramps in early pregnancy and my uterus popped above my pubic bone around 6 or 7 weeks. At first I thought I was imagining things, but when I saw my doctor at 11 weeks, she was the one to mention the fact that my uterus had already grown quite a bit...
