You will show! I'm a size 16 regularly, this is my first pregnancy (so lots of stretching has had to take place) and I started to show around week 18. My "bump" is really low (the old wives' tale says that's what happens with girls...) but it's still obvious that I'm prego. Don't worry! :)

Answer is you will show!!! Before I was prego I was 5'9 226lbs in the first almost 4 months of being prego I was sick alot!!! So my weight dropped and went down to 206 so 2lbs lost.... I am now 30 weeks and I am at 226 which from this point on my doc counts the weight since its what I was before I was prego. I showed at 17 weeks ( you can see from my pics) But I really popped out in the last month or so now I feel big and I know I will only get bigger from here on out.!! Good luck and enjoy dont worry nobodys body is the same and I had to learn that fast and to not compare myself to anyone else who is around the same in pregoness otherwise it will drive you insane!!!

I am five inches shorter than you and about 30 pounds heavier - I started visibly showing to the world (e.g. not just looking like I gained weight) around 20 weeks. Now at 26 weeks it is clear to everyone I'm pregnant - not just heavy. I think wearing maternity clothes can help make it clear. You will be beautiful either way! Plus - when people can't tell you are pregnant they don't reach out and randomly touch your belly - which for me is total plus!

lol thanks, actually the weight loss was more from my horrible morning sickness than anything, but it did help me feel better in the long run. :) I'm glad I could help!!

Wow, congrats on staying healthy. I've heard of weight loss happening during pregnancy especially when starting overweight and I'm hoping that will be the case for me! I guess it's the bodies way of balancing out. Thanks for your response, made me feel a lot better and I think your motto is beautiful!

Hopefulll - I love that you asked this, even though you couldn't do so anonymously. :) I'm 5'4" and weigh 198, but started at 220 when we found out we were pregnant. I'm not just fat, I'm curvy. DD's and size 18 pants, but little in the middle. I'm around 16 weeks now...and only I can tell. Hubby says he can sometimes but...who knows how much is truth and how much is support. :P My belly got a lot smaller when I lost the weight, so I'm thinner than I was, but yet the belly is going outward into a mini bump. so no one could possibly tell. It'll get there :) DON't WORRY :D You will be a gorgeous mom. Feel it, and people will see it. That's my motto. If I feel huge and ugly, thats what people will see. If I feel healthy and good, that's what people will see. :)

I mean a reasonable rate lol. Also, I should mention that I'm 12 weeks today and if I flex my abs I can feel a definite bump but unfortunately I have a lovely layer of fat on top of that which makes me look like I have a beer gut lol.
