My dad starting getting white hair when he was only 25. Took after him. Starting with one and now there's plenty. I hate it.wouldn't take any kind of risk with hair dye nut I have heard of some natural ones. Vegetable hair dye? Or henna? Please help if you know anything that is safe. I ll be 11 weeks in couple of days. I don't wanna do the regular hair dyes even after first trimester. Any info?

Hi there I'm a hairdresser, I would not recommend henna unless you continue to use it as a minieral and metalic colour when mixed cause severe chemical reactions. I have researched the effect on baby and pregnancy with colour as i use the stuff everyday, and found nothing to say it is not safe.
ergo colour your hair, yet get a salon it recommend the appropriate colours for you!

you could do foils since they don't come in contact with your scalp?

I use henna and a little buxus. It's safe unless there's a rare genetic defect. I can't remember exactly what it is, but you can look it up on http://www.hennaforhair.com
It's *very* important to use pure henna. Any additives can cause allergic reactions.
If you want to ask me anymore about it and how I use it, feel free to message me!
