Q: Is it possible to get pregnant on the marena?

I got the marina almost 7 months ago but the last few weeks my breast have been tender and i think they've grown, Im fatigued/tired alot.. running which i loved to do and was getting really good at has become a battle of being out of breath and not running as far as i used to or the time it takes me is getting longer. I pee more , i get aches and cramps in my legs , my stomach seems fuller and more rounded. I eat more, ive gained weight, i did get acne/pimples now and then but now its like its trippled it really bad.. theres lots of other symptoms and I have been pregnant before (my son is almost 4) so i know what to look for but some of these symptoms are also side effects from the marena.. Ive taked preg tests and they have been nagative but i read stories wehre they were negative and the ladies still ended up being pregnant.. has this happened to anyone else? Im going in for an ultrasound to ease my mind even though the doctor thinks im crazy.. i hope im not crazy.. can anyone help

Thank you for replying to me. I ended up getting the ultrasound and wasn't pregnant. But all the signs and symptoms were doing my head in. Feeling tired and fat all the time was doing my head in.. Acne was awful and I was very very very moody. So I took the marina out, within two days got my period back, still feeling tired but it will take a little bit for all the hormones .. and the rest of it to go back to normal. Trying to exercise more and eat very well to lose the extra weight. Life is getting back on track.

no birth control is 100% but i doubt you are pregnant hun.i was on mirena for almost 3 years and when i first got it, it made me feel like i was pregnant.Was so wierd to feel flutters,increase in appetite,acne,and nausea.and to top it off, my period would be late until i took a pregnancy test.lol.But i never was pregnant and got mirena removed to start trying for a baby.im 31 weeks along with a girl now :-)
