Chewing ice is fine. It is good to get your iron levels checked though. I love to suck on ice. My iron is a bit low though. On an OTC iron supplement. But been told sucking Ice is fine

I craved ice when my iron was low as it got worse I started craving non food items like green crayons which I didn't eat of course but knew something must be wrong so I told my doctor and it was low iron which pregnant women can get very easily. After being on iron the weird cravings for crayons and ice disappeared. Tell your doctor.

I can't imagine ice doing anything! I've never been told anything about ice.

I've known a couple of people who started craving chewing ice when their iron levels were low, so just as a precaution I would mention it to your health care provider to make sure your levels are ok!

Ice is fine! If anything its best to keep yourself cool in pregnancy and not overheat so if eating ice is your thing, crunch away!

No, this is totally fine. I have been chewing ice like crazy this pregnancy. It is just what your body is craving, is will cause no harm to your baby.
