Q: Bottlefeeding Breast milk

My DD is 3.5 weeks old now and I'd like to start her on the occasional bottle feeding (no more than once a day). Not sure the best way to transition her to this and should I do paced bottle feeding or not? Anyone have any advice or experience to offer?

It worked for my son. He took both with no issues. Some babies take to both, and some will never go back to the breast after the bottle. It's a bit of a risk but sometimes well worth it so hubby can share the night time feedings;)

I wanted my son to take a bottle so when it comes time to weaning him, he will take a bottle without fuss. So i followed the advice of the book "save our sleep" by tizzie hall. She says the earlier that you introduce a bottle the more likely they will take it. I express milk and at 6pm my husband feeds our baby a bottle (It is good bonding and because we introduced it early he just took the bottle without a fuss). Then i would always feed baby after the bottle to ensure he gets enough milk.
