Q: VBAC after c-sectionS??

as anyone here had a vbac after 2 or more c-sections? I have had 2 c-sections and have 2 seperate scars.. I would love to experience natural birth but am becoming a little frightened by the uterine rupture risk and stories I am finding. :(

I have only had 1 c-section, but I am attempting a VBAC. I have heard great successes from women who VBA2C or even 3 or 4. I know it can be done. Try not to psych yourself out. If you want it, go for it. Find a good midwife or doctor who will support it. Join ICAN and see if you can find a local chapter in your area (sadly there is not one in mine.) :( If you have to do a TON of research, then do it, esp if it gets you the birth you want. I also recommend a doula. She can be of great assistance in helping you achieve your VBA2C. Good luck to you and i hope you get it!

Thanks Samm.. well I was really really wanting one but now I am not so sure. Doing more and more research the risk of uterine rupture and what if it DOES happen just seems crazy to me.. to put my little ones life in danger I do not know how I could live knowing I made a decision that ended my little ones life. So I am having conflicted emotions about it right now because I feel that I have been robbed of being able to give birth naturally .. the last c-section was not needed but the doctor I saw would not do a vbac. I was actually 5 cm dilated when they started to prep me for it.

I've had two c sections, but Im glad I did with my second. They were only 18 months apart. So now Im pregnant with my 3 and the youngest is 4, they wont let me do a vbac. I am trying everything. Not in FL and in Cali they wont let me try either. They said unless you refuse a c section and go into labor is the only way, but they wont be happy. That's what they told me. I want to try for a vbac still anyway.. Good luck and the best to you
