Q: For those of you who found out the sex of your 1st born but waited for the big day with your 2nd...

Hey ladies, just curious, how many of you found out what your first baby was before delivery day but are now choosing to wait this time around? Or how many of you have already had your second with it being a total surprise this time? And how on earth did you do it? I'm struggling with idea of not knowing lol. And also, is it normal for feeling a little guilty for hoping for a particular sex? I know I'll be happy regardless and healthy is number one but my biggest fear is feeling a slight hint of "another penis!?" if don't get my girl lol. Isn't that horrible? Please do not be too harsh on me. I love my son but I can't braid his hair or paint his toenails lol.

Our first was a surprise, a little girl. It was wonderful not knowing, I loved the anticipation. This time round though I am thinking practically and want to find out. We have had a number of losses so we really do not mind what it is either. My sister in law has two boys and is preg again and really wants a girl, so they have decided to wait. I think this makes sense to avoid any disappointment. And HOPEFULLL there is nothing wrong with being honest about how you feel... it is purely natural

I found out with my daughter but this time around I am not. I have tons and tons of newborn girl clothes and a full trash bag of gender neutral clothes. If it is a boy I have a few hundred dollars in savings to go get him some clothes- its going to be summer and he would probably be in onsies a lot any way. I do cloth diaper and it is a little disappointing not to be able to get gender specific diapers but I could always buy a few more later! you can never have too many diapers. I feel prepared for either gender and while I would love to have another girl my husband really wants a boy so either way we will be happy I will not be disappointed if its a boy because my husband will make a great father to a boy and maybe will be more helpful:)

I found out with my first two but this time we are having a surprise since we have both a boy and a girl. I know I wouldn't be able to handle not knowing. But in between my second kid and being pregnant with this one I have had losses, so I am able to tell myself "I am just so happy this one is healthy so I don't care what the gender is" If waiting is really what you want to do then go for it! Don't feel bad about wanting one gender more than the other, I think you are already on track just hoping the baby is healthy :)
