Q: 15 weeks Pregnant & Nyquill.....

I don't know what I was thinking, not checking with Doc first. I took some Nyquil two nights in a row for a horrible cold b/c I saw it has the same ingredient as tylenol on the back of the bottle (the acetiphetamine or whatever it is). I just read some mixed opinions on the Internet about it and now I am freaking out :( Clearly Im not going to take it anymore....do you think I did any damage?

ROTFL @Erin!! That was funny but sooo true! Seriously though, have u ever seen that "I didnt know I was pregnant" show on TLC?? They smoke, drink, party, fall on their face, dont take there vitamins OR eat like they "should" and give birth in a bathroom... on the floor... alone... and their babies are fine. Girl, I wouldnt worry, specially the fact that you didnt take it every day for WEEKS on end. It does contain a VERY small amount of alcohol in it but im sure its not enough to harm your baby... maybe make him/her a little sleepy but I wouldnt imagine it having any major side effects. If you are REALLY concerned, call ur dr in the morning and just ask. Im sure they will tell u the same thing (minus the crackhead joke lol).. or just drink a lot of water to flush it from ur system.. IDK but im sure u and ur baby will be just fine :)

You'll be fine, like said below, some women do ALOT worse in pregnancy. Everything is said as a precaution. Don't stress as thats probably worse! :)

Nooo, don't freak out! You will be fine! Like you said, just dont do it anymore. Crackheads have healthy babies all the time. A little NyQuils not going to do anything. ;)
