Q: Bfp

Can someone tell me what a bfp is ? And can I get on 8 dpo?

I tested day period was due, although the brown spotting on dpo10 and dpo12 kinda gave my more hope. At dpo5 I could not eat a fresh piece of steam brocoli and I love brocoli and I went off coffee completely. That kind of gave it away for us and it was really hard not to test early. DH made the call on which day to test. Every morning I would wake him up and ask him if he wanted me to test. He kept my urge un control.

I got mine at 9dpo (only took it bc my cheap internet tests came in the mail and i had like 40 of them so i said why not lol). It was so faint i thought it might be a vapor line but it had color to it. vapor lines have no color. I took it at 4pm so i waited a few hours and made sure i didnt drink ANYTHING bc i didnt want to dilute my pee (i know it sounds crazy but i thought i was going crazy seeing lines that werent there bc it was too good to be true) but sure enough, it was still very faint but it was there. I also took one each day after that until the day after my period was due just to be sure and the line just got darker.

I think it really depends on when you test as far as time of day and how condensed ur pee is. Unless u have those internet cheapie tests, i wouldnt recomend wasting your money until at least 10dpo. From what I remember reading, that is when most women get their first faint line.

like someone said it depends on the women. I tested at 8, 10, and 12 dpo and didn't get my positive till 12dpo.
