Q: Toddler jumped on stomach when 15 weeks pregnant - is it safe?

My 10kg toddler jumped on my belly today and I am 15 weeks pregnant. I haven't had any bleeding or major cramping but I am worried this may have harmed my baby. My toddler was stood up and jumped to sit on my stomach and it hurt so I am concerned.

Do you think it will be ok?

Any truma to the abdomen should be checked by a health provider ASAP!!!. sorry but evan toddler can cause damage to an unborn baby evan if there is no sign of bleeding (missed misscariage at 14 weeks due to toddler)

This is my 3rd pregnancy I got drop kicked really hard a few times by my toddler last pregnancy hurt like crazy but everything was okay. I understand your concern but there is TONS of padding and cushion keeping baby safe. Also it seems to hurt more bc your tummy is already sore from growing baby

Thanks so much. I have been checking and no bleeding as of yet. I think it has given me a scare though and although my daughter knows there is a baby in mummy's tummy we need to be a little more careful!

I have a 9 month old chunkster who likes to jump on my belly too. She like power drives my belly. I asked my dr if it was okay and he said its fine as long as I am not far enough along for my daughter to hit the babys head or anything when she jumps on me (im only 5 weeks now) As long as there is no bleeding or horrible crampping, its fine. Just try to teach the kiddo that its wrong and its an "ouchy" to mommy.

if you start bleeding go in. But I'm 10 weeks and my toddler does stuff like that too. I've been just trying to tell her she needs to be nice with mama. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. lol
