Q: Stroler/Car seat combo?

I do not have much money and I think they make stroller/car seat combo things that the car seat snaps onto the stroller or something. Im looking for something that can be used for infant car seat as well as forward facing that comes with/ attatches to a stroller... anyone ever heard of this and/or have any advice on which to get?

an infant seat (bucket style) CAN ONLY BE USED REAR FACING. So if someone told you you can forward face an infant seat they were WRONG. There are 2 seats you can use for an infant. Infant ONLY seats, and a convertible seat. Most convertible seats can be used rear facing from about 4-40lbs or so (some vary). I have not seen or heard of a convertible seat that clicks into a stroller only the infant seats.
I think if you are low on funds your best bet is to get a convertible seat since it will last you much longer. You can then carry your baby in a baby carrier on your body until baby is old enough to hold his or her head up, or in your arms. Once that happens you can put baby in any stroller. But babies that cannot hold their head up on their own should not be put in a umbrella stroller, or something that does not recline.

I had one that went rear and forward facing, it was chicco, but i think they make cheaper ones like graco too,it will last you probably about 10-12 months depending on how tall your baby is.

We have a combo that faces either way and any carseat can snap into it with the right adapter...but it was NOT cheap. Like $400 I think....my mother-in-law bought it for us. I think it's called City Select....you may be able to find it cheaper on ebay or craigslist or somewhere...good luck!

I know they have the travel set (carseat and stroller) but I dont think they have any that will go forward facing. I know from personal experience cause we got one and my first is 8 months old and just out grew hers. SO you do have time before you need to worry about something bigger.
