Q: 5w6d cramping like contraction

I know cramping like af is normal during early pregnancy, but today I've been having a cramp that comes and goes in waves almost like a contraction (i'll use that loosely though because I've never been pregnant before) on my right side. Is this normal..bad..?

Totally normal as long as it's not accompanied by bleeding. I've had cramping on and off myself this pregnancy. Right around the time I should have started my period I swore it was about to start because the cramps were so bad. Probably just your uterus stretching.
