Q: Random bruising?

For the past week or so I've noticed random DARK bruises appearing on my legs and stomach. I know it can be caused by anemia, which I have. But I'm taking prenatals with extra iron in them PLUS iron pills every day. I bruised less than this when I wasn't pregnant, which is why I'm worried.

first thing that i would think of was low iron / blood count or anemia..
other than that i presume your not on blood thinners as you bruise more easily ie asprin .. innohep or similiar ?

if your worried get it checked ..

I've started experiencing the same thing! Very dark bruises on my legs & thighs: large too. I'm pushing 28 weeks & didn't have this with my first pregnancy, so I'm going to ask my dr next week. They checked my iron at my last appt & it was fine. I'm assuming it is due to the extra blood volume, but better to be safe & ask!
