Q: Double Stroller that fits an infant and a kindergartner?

My daughter will be starting kindergarten at a school that is about 20 minutes walk away from our home. I cannot drive due to a health problem and the school does not provide any means of transportation to the school.

I am thinking about getting a double stroller for the baby and for my soon to be kindergartner. I don't want my daughter to be walking the whole way there especially in the morning when she's still groggy and it's quite a ways. Right now the preschool that she goes to is a ten minute walk away from our home. I'm used to walking it.

Do any of you ladies know of some strollers that would be able to fit a 44 inch child (She will probably grow :p so maybe a few inches taller than 44 inches). She weighs 43 lbs. Thanks! I just hope that I can find something that works.

my Kindergartner and his 4 year old brother walk 25 minutes to school with me everyday, it will build your kindergartners endurance, I say make her walk she's too old for a stroller!! Don't waste your money :) but ive seen people with an infant and a 7-8 year old in a sit n' stand stroller.

I'm getting the Graco Ready2Grow Click Connect lx double stroller. The back platform has a place where they can sit or stand & that holds a child up to 50 lbs.
