We found out at 16+3 that we are having a little girl, but the genitals are fully developed by about 12 weeks - so depending on the quality of the ultrasound equipment, you should be able to find out fairly early. 18 weeks should be just fine as long as baby gives you a peek!

I found out at 12 wks and 1 day that I was having a girl. Now, this was at a perinatologist, so the equipment was high tech, but even to my untrained eye it was obviously a girl (you could see the tell tale 3 lines that girl shots have). By 18 weeks, it should be fairly clear clear what you're having! Good luck!

My friend is high-risk with all her pregnancies, so she has to see the high-risk doctor...apparently their ultrasounds are higher quality, as are the private ones you can have done. She is always able to find out at 16 weeks.

They should be able to determine a gender at 18wks, provided baby cooperates. I found out at 16+1 that I was having a boy, this is going back almost 14yrs...technology has advanced quite a bit. I'd book it!!
