Q: Really not wanting any more after this last pregnancy.

I was miserable pretty much the entire time. I had bad nauesa pretty much the entire time, got SPD about 17-18 weeks and had to drop my fall quarter classes because I had to do physical therapy and from about the same time I had painful Braxton hicks. I enjoyed feeling my baby move and seeing her on ultrasound but giving birth was so hard and very scary. I went over my due date and had my baby a day before my 41st week she was 9lbs and 10oz and 21 1/4 inches long. She got stuck and they pushed a button and pretty much a swat team filed into the room and had to push her out. I only need 1 stitch but it was such a scary experience that I don't want anymore but my bf does. Now the past few days I've been having real bad symptoms of ppd and I'm trying to ignore them but I just can't. Why can't my bf understand I don't want anymore?

Between my boyfriend and I we have 5 now and our house is extremely small and we have his dad living with us as well so we are very cramped :( I love my baby but I almost wonder if I should have had her. I feel like a bad mother cause I don't connect to my boyfriends' other kids.

Never say never!! I didnt have PPD after the birth of my son, I just had a horrible L&D which turned me off of having another child...everrr! When I turned 33, something kicked in and I had this sudden drive to have another baby. It took 1.5yrs of trying and a plethora of drugs/supps, but we did it...almost 13yrs after I swore I would NEVER do it again. It did take a while to change my mind, obvs, and I'm sure the kick in the ass came from my age and the feeling that it's now or never, but point is, mind was changed...after I said never again!
Congrats!! =))

I had a difficult time the first few months postpartum and I felt like one baby was more than enough. Just give it time, right now it's hard to make those kinds of decisions. I just kept reminding myself when things were tough that it has to get easier or no one would ever have another child;-) My DD is now 18 months and I just found out I'm expecting again. You'll figure out what's right for you and your family later on, right now just try to take care of yourself and your baby...they really do grow up fast!

I agree. You need to give it time. I had PPD after my first. It was a rough delivery. She was born 4 wks early & had some complications as a result. I had c section which made recovery harder. I swore I was never having more kids & I was serious! But time went by & things improved. At this point, you just need to focus on your baby & your health. There's no need to make a decision right now on whether you will/not have subsequent children. Enjoy the baby you have now & the rest will fall into place! Gl!

Give it time. You may change your mind later. Especially if you are dealing with PPD now. Make sure you talk to your doctor about the PPD, there are things they can do and give you to help. Good luck.
