Q: (Opinion question!) Tons of blankets...receiving, fluffy, handmade...what to do with all of them??

When I counted, we have received over 25 blankets....mostly the thin receiving blankets, but some handmade and some really fluffy ones. I know we won't use most of them...and unsure what to do with them. I have no receipts either for any of the receiving blankets....so taking back is not an option. It's getting to the point where I can't even close the designated blanket dresser drawer...and it's pretty roomy!!

Should I donate some?

I agree with sunny. You can use the receiving blankets for burp cloths, swaddling, changing blankets when in public places, breast feeding covers and these are just a few that i used mine for. You will end up going through a ton. As a matter of a fact the only thing i have bought for this baby is a pack of burp cloths because tgats how much i use them. If storage is an issue i bought a storage unit to slid underneath the bed. Have a great day!

You can never have too any receiving blankets! They get pooped on, thrown up on and all the other gross things babies produce. If you have extras then you can throw away the ones that get stained. You will def go through more then one receiving blanket a day.
