Q: (Opinion question!) Tons of blankets...receiving, fluffy, handmade...what to do with all of them??

When I counted, we have received over 25 blankets....mostly the thin receiving blankets, but some handmade and some really fluffy ones. I know we won't use most of them...and unsure what to do with them. I have no receipts either for any of the receiving blankets....so taking back is not an option. It's getting to the point where I can't even close the designated blanket dresser drawer...and it's pretty roomy!!

Should I donate some?

receiving blankets I find are something you can never have enough of. They are great of wiping up baby messes, I slept with some when my breasts leaked milk, lifesavers when there is epic baby vomits, wrap a sleeping baby in, put over a stroller for extra shade if baby is sleeping, the list could go on. Fluffy blankets toddlers love playing with and making "beds" on the floor for toys. Mine does anyway. I keep one of those clothes storage things under the bed with all my receiving blankets.

Trust me, you'll use them. I thought we got a lot or too many we wouldn't use but we've already had to run a load of them.
