Q: What to expect at the 12 week appointment?

I'm wondering what to expect at my 12 week appointment. I had an ultrasound at 6w3d, and I'm curious as to whether they'll do another at 12 weeks, or if they just listen to the heartbeat. I'd appreciate any insight!!

I opted in for the downs syndrome testing. Which is now an ultrasound and a blood test at 12 weeks. My doctor always tells me what to expect at my next appointment at my current appointment. It's refreshing! if they are planning an ultrasound for you, they will remind you to drink water about 30 minutes prior to your appointment.

They probably won't, but it depends on your doctor. I had one at 5 weeks and 6 days and another at 7 weeks and 2 days. I haven't gotten another one yet and I probably wont' get one until I'm 18 weeks.
